  • At L and D Wellness & Counseling Center, we take the time to really Understand your individual needs. Which consist of a comprehensive initial assessment, followed by a collaborative treatment planning process. It’s important for us to get to know you on a personal level, so we can provide the best possible care for your treatment.

  • This depends on your reason for starting individual therapy and how intense you presenting problem is. Therapy should not be rushed and may last as long as it takes for you to notice improvements and feel better. There is no standard length of therapy. It could take several weeks, months, or even years, depending on the person’s individual needs.

  • No. Currently a sliding scale is not being offered currently. Please feel free to discuss super bill options (provided upon request) with us during our phone consultation.

  • Yes! Consultation calls are available at no charge for individuals who want to speak with the Clinician before scheduling an appointment. These calls are 10-15 minutes in length and are used to go over any initial questions that you may have about getting started.

  • Consistency is the most important aspect of desired outcomes, the more consistent time and effort you put into therapy, the better the results. I recommend weekly sessions if this fits into your schedule and budget, especially in the beginning. Then, bi-weekly sessions can be discussed when appropriate to move to a bi-weekly or even monthly schedule.
